I came across this article the other day and thought it was pretty awesome! Ray Clark definitely proves that it's never too late to get started on a new fitness regimen and his trainer, Thom Hunter has given me hope that I will be able to train my clients for many more years to come!
Ray Clark started training a few years ago when he was 98 years old. Now he's 102 and still hits the gym with his trainer on a weekly basis! I train a fellow named Mickey who is 86 years old. He's sharp as a tack and moves like a man 20 years his junior. He told me that he didn't start working out into he was well into his thirties so he never suffered any stupid injuries as a youth. Which makes sense because I'm 35 and have finally started living by the old adage; Train Smarter, Not Harder!
And huge props to Ray's trainer, Thom Hunter. I think it's so cool that he is still training clients at 70 years old. And the guy looks like he is still in great shape! He reminds me of Lloyd Bridges' character Izzy Mandelbaum from the sitcom Seinfeld.
He was Jerry's personal trainer. And I don't mean that in a bad way towards Mr. Hunter... Izzy Mandelbaum was one of my all time favourite characters from the show! If you don't know who I'm talking about, check out the clip below... it's pretty funny!

We just got back from Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico where my partner George got married to his beautiful new Bride, Aline. George saw a guy on the beach a couple of days before the wedding and thought it would be hilarious if all of the groomsmen wore Mexican wrestling masks and wrestled around on the beach for a bit after the ceremony!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I've been super busy the past few weeks working on some new updates for the website. George and I have both been busy making subtle changes and working on some really cool additions that we will be launching in the new year!
Right now I'm working on re-filming and editing all of the old exercise videos so that all of the videos on the site will be in high definition format. Once I'm done all that, I'm going to build full length videos for all of the original workout routines!
Anyways a friend of mine shared this video with me last week and I've watched it about a dozen times. If you haven't seen it yet, then get ready to be blown away! It's pretty inspirational, the stunts on it are absolutely unbelievable and I think it's so awesome when someone is able to catch stuff like this on film!
