This is an extremely simple but nutritious, and sweet snack. If you can't find almond butter, or if it's too expensive make your own. Almond butter has a sweeter taste than regular peanut butter, and is not as overpowering. This is high in fat, but the good fats that are part of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Spread a tablespoon of almond butter to each slice. Sprinkle some cinnamon, and add 1/4 banana to each slice. Put in toaster oven till banana is really tender.
