Protein Oatmeal

 

Recipe for Protein Oatmeal

This is great post workout meal. After a great workout I like to have a scoop pf protein powder with 1/2 water, 1/2 soy or nonfat milk and then have my oatmeal about 30 to 60 minutes after. Feels soooo good!



Ingredients:
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 to 3 egg whites
cinnamon
almonds
fruit of choice

Preparation:
Put 1/2 c. dry oatmeal in bowl. Add enough water to cover and stir. Put in microwave for 1 minute. Add 2 to 3 egg whites, stir and microwave for 40 seconds, stir again and microwave for another 40 seconds. Stir in cinnamon, raw almonds and your favorite fruit. I like diced apple or craisins. It is soooo good!
