Plank Superman

Exercise Information:
Level of Skill: Intermediate
Intermediate programs may be longer, more complex and/or more straining than a beginner program. Intermediate programs challenge strength, control, balance, flexibility & power. Gain experience, mobility & strength with beginner programs before moving on to intermediate programs.
Equipment: N/A
Reps: 10 per side
A rep or repetition is each time you lift a weight or perform an exercise through one range of motion and back to the starting position.
Rest Between Sets:  30 seconds

This is a very difficult core exercise that requires a great deal of strength and balance to perform properly but helps build incredible core strength.

Instructions: Plank Superman

Step 1: How to do Plank Superman Start in a basic plank position with your hips tucked, your glutes contracted and your back straight, while maintaining a tight bridge.
Step 2: How to do Plank Superman While maintaining the plank, extend one arm and perform a leg raise with the opposite leg at the same time.
Step 3: How to do Plank Superman Return your arm and leg to the starting position, alternate sides and repeat the action.
