The trunk twist with the weighted plate is an excellent exercise to warm-up the lower back and core. This is a beginner exercise that can be done by any fitness level.

Instructions on how to do Trunk Twist w/ Weight Plate

Step 1: How to do this Obliques Exercise: Step 1 Start with your feet shoulder width apart and hold the weight plate in front of your body.
Step 2: How to do this Obliques Exercise: Step 2 Twist side to side using the momentum of the weight to rotate your trunk from side to side.
Step 3: How to do this Obliques Exercise: Step 3 Make sure to keep your core engaged and maintain a strong athletic stance throughout the exercise.
