The squat and press with the weighted bar is a beginner compound exercise. The squat and press targets the legs, shoulders, arms and core and is a great warm-up exercise for any program.

Step 1: How to do this Shoulders Exercise: Step 1 Start with your feet shoulder width apart with the weight plate resting in your arms at chest height..
Step 2: How to do this Shoulders Exercise: Step 2 Squat down maintaining a neutral spine until your elbows touch your knees.
Step 3: How to do this Shoulders Exercise: Step 3 Stand back up and finish the exercise with a shoulder press.
