Exercise Information:
Skill: Beginner
Beginner exercises are for people who do not exercise frequently and/or have general mobility problems and need to strengthen their muscles for every day activities.
Equipment:  Optional (details)

The leg raise exercise must be done with proper form and tempo to ensure that the correct muscles are being used. Those muscles include the top of the buttocks and lower back.

Instructions on how to do Leg Raises

Step 1: How to do this Glutes Exercise: Step 1 Start in a push-up position with your hands on the bench. Your shoulders should remain in line with your wrists. Keep your back straight and your abs tight while flexing your buttocks.
Step 2: How to do this Glutes Exercise: Step 2 Keeping your legs straight and your body rigid, raise your leg off the ground and squeeze the small pocket of muscle in your upper leg.
Step 3: How to do this Glutes Exercise: Step 3 Lower leg to the floor and repeat.
