Skill: Beginner
Beginner exercises are for people who do not exercise frequently and/or have general mobility problems and need to strengthen their muscles for every day activities.
Equipment:  Required (details)

This is a shoulder exercise that trains the top of the deltoids. This exercise uses the Thera-Band to control and maintain the resistance throughout the range of motion.

Instructions on how to do Standing Lateral Raises w/ Thera-Band

Step 1: How to do this Shoulders Exercise: Step 1 Start with your back straight and your feet placed shoulder width apart. Place the Thera-Band under both feet. Haven your arms straight and positioned at your side.
Step 2: How to do this Shoulders Exercise: Step 2 Keeping your back straight, raise your arms to the side until shoulder level. Hold this position for a brief pause.
Step 3: How to do this Shoulders Exercise: Step 3 Lower arms back down to your side and repeat.
