The cable machine is a piece of equipment used in weight training or functional training. A wide variety of exercises can be performed using the apparatus.
To select the desired amount of resistance, move the metal pin into the labelled hole in the weight stack. The other end of the cable forms a loop, which allows the user to attach the appropriate handle. Some cable machines also allow you to change the position of the handle.
The single arm cable squat row is a beginner full body exercise. This is a great multi-joint compound exercise that targets the quads, glutes, back and arms.
