The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics wrapped up yesterday and the Olympic cauldron was extinguished last night at the end of the Closing Ceremonies. The Winter Games lasted a total of 17 exciting days and it was definitely one of the coolest experiences that I've had in my life! Especially the fact that it all happened right in my own backyard! Not only did this nation come together and show it's deep rooted patriotism and pride but we also set a new record for most gold medals won by a host or any other nation in the Winter Games and were able to cap it all off with a glorious win in overtime against Team U.S.A. (sorry to all of my friends down south... Miller played awesome but this was meant to be for Team Canada!)
